Are you familiar with Substack Notes?
If you’re a Substack subscriber, you’re likely aware of Notes. Notes are social media-like posts where writers and readers share short-form ideas and content. Substack subscribers can receive them via their preferred Notification settings, but they are also viewable on the app or the website. (A link to view my Notes.)
If you are not a subscriber to Substack, you likely won’t see Notes. I vote YES for subscribing. I have found this community to be positive and enriching. Smart, too. I’ve discovered beautiful writers and creative artists here. And I like that there are no ads. Everything is clean and clear.
BTW. All subscribers to this publication can like a post, but you have to subscribe through Substack to also comment. Substack does this to prevent trollers and spam. I’d love for you to share your comments! 😊
With that said, I’ve decided to re-post my latest Note here, because I think it’s worthy of a wider share.
This is a poem by Julia Fehrenbacher, titled “The Cure For It All”. You’ll find it in the anthology, Poetry of Presence: An Anthology of Mindfulness Poems. My sister shared it with me, and I loved it. I shared it with a few others and they also loved it. So I’m sharing it with all of you now.
A calming poem for trying times. May it help to soothe your spirits a bit today.
Remember, all email subscribers can like. Substack subscribers can also comment. Please do. 💗
Beautiful poem, Johanna!
One of those poems that leads you inexorably to the last line, after which a well-deserved exhale can occur.
